NEWTON, Dawn Susan (Age 58) Born June 5, 1956 in Spokane, WA to Donald and Bette Newton passed away September 11, 2014 at Hospice House in Spokane. Dawn spent most of her life in Spokane graduated from Ferris in 1974 and attended SCC . She worked at Sacred Heart for 10 years as a unit coordinator, and later went back to school to be a massage therapist. She then began an extensive spiritual journey that took her around the world. In her travel she met many people of which she kept in touch with on the internet. Dawn is survived by her father, Donald Newton of Coeur d'Alene, ID; daughter Tanner Newton of Spokane; sisters, Carrene (John) Newton of Newman Lake, Julie (Paul )Dupree of Libby, MT; brother, Dale (Toni) Newton of Spokane; two grandchildren Chance and Justice Anderson of Spokane, nieces and nephews Trevor Newton, Tyler (Kathy) Newton, Jordan (Angie) Newton, Christian Dupree and Danielle Dupree. She was preceded in death by her loving mother Bette Newton September 13, 2013. The family would like to thank Hospice of Spokane and specifically Paula and Sveta for all their support, kindness and love. Dawn was an amazing woman that inspired many people and will be greatly missed. The family request donations be made in her honor to Hospice of Spokane, 367 E. 7th, Spokane, WA.
