Rosemary Groves (Elwell) - Class Of 1969

ELWELL, Rosemary Our dear Rosemary passed on June 10th, 2013. She has so many people that love her, with an endless list of friends and family, all of them grieving, yet happy she has found peace. Rosemary is survived by her husband Neil, sister Brenda, mother-in-law Christine, stepdaughters Eryn and Jill, stepson Nicholas, and their families. She is also survived by nieces Tanya, Christa and Carmyn, as well as their families. Her many great friends include Laurel, Ted and Kay, Craig and Karyn, Ken and Lyndia, Camille, Jerry, Dennis, Katrina and Mike, Tina, Tony, Lance, the Tortorici's, Kim and Dennis, Ramiro and Kim, Sandy, the staff at her favorite eatery, Stein Haus, as well as the staff and residents at Manor Care, Sacred Heart, and St. Luke's. In actuality, a complete list of her friends would consume a page or two of this newspaper, so we apologize to those not listed, however, you know who you are. Rosemary entered this life on February 3rd, 1951, in Wilmington, Delaware. At an early age, with her mom and sis, Rosemary located in the Spokane area. She is a 1969 graduate of Ferris High School. After graduation, she spent several years in Northern California and Lake Tahoe, eventually relocating to Spokane, where she met Neil, and they exchanged their vows in 2003. She is predeceased by her mother, Ethel Williams, and father, Francis Groves. Rosemary loved music, and spent hours listening to her cd's, her husband's musical endeavors, many a concert, local musicians, and music movies and videos. She also loved swimming in the family pool, tending to her houseplants, pets, and enjoying the outdoors around her home. Rosemary especially enjoyed the many family get-togethers at "Grandma Chris' " house. A celebration of her life and times is in the planning stages. WE look forward to the many "Rosemary stories" we will share--there's a bunch!! Rosemary will be missed, and never forgotten by those who love her. She is at peace, everlasting peace at last.
