Tami Lee Kostecka passed away at her home in Spokane, WA, on August 30, 2023, surrounded by close family at the age of 64. She was married to Joe the love of her life for over 40 years. They share two daughters whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. Becoming a grandmother in 2020 was one of the highlights of her life. She was thrilled to be promoted to Grammy and adored her granddaughter.

She loved the Oregon coast, trips with her family, Bunco with her close friend group of over 30 years, floating in the pool, and hanging out with her cat George. She had a passion for people and could make friends anywhere. She truly lived her life to the fullest in each moment and inspired many with her strength, bravery, humor, and optimism.

She is deeply missed and survived by her husband, Joe, daughters, Jessica and Tara, granddaughter, Taylie, her sisters, Terri and Dawn, her mother, Marnene, and countless other extended family members and close friends. She has joined her first son Adam in heaven; however, her memory and Sparkly Unicorn spirit will never be forgotten.

She will be honored at a memorial service at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Spokane, WA, at 11:00 am on September 30, 2023, followed by a celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, we ask you to make a donation in her name to the American Cancer Society.
