Joyce Louise Strawn, 69, passed into her next life on June 14, 2022, after a long battle with rheumatoid arthritis. A lifelong resident of Spokane, Joy was born to Doris and Earl on December 31, 1952, and graduated from Ferris High School in 1971. She is survived by her husband Tom, son Rob (Karen) and granddaughters Kasie and Falisha; sisters Judy (Phil), Carolyn (Bob), Linda (John). She was preceded in death by her father Earl.

Married 48 years, they met when Tom worked with her dad at Kaiser who set them up on a blind date. Joy loved to crochet, sew, and do embroidery.

Her memorial service will be at The Intersection Church, 905 N McDonald Rd, Spokane Valley on August 13, 2022, at 12 noon.
