Jeffrey Strange - Class Of 1972 VIEW PROFILE

As a family it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeff Strange – Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, and just a darn nice guy. He was kind, loving, generous, and downright funny and witty at times.

Jeff was diagnosed with cancer in Jan. 2016. Jeff fought a brave and valiant effort to beat the cancer. On June 16 we were told it had spread thru his body. We lost Jeff on the early morning of July 6 th surrounded by family.

Born in 1954 in Gardner KS, moved to Spokane in 1959 attended Our Lady of Fatima, G-Prep, LC, and graduated from Ferris in 1972. Jeff attended EWU studying business and finance.

Jeff met Janet in Jan of 1976 at Ichabod’s in Spokane and sent her a letter, with the lost ear ring and asked her out. Immediately they were in love and married May 20th 1978 and have celebrated 38 years of love and marriage.

Jeff and Janet have taken care of the family built cabin at Lake Cocolalla in Idaho for the past 10 years. Many family and friends have enjoyed the good times at the lake and countless weekends together at the lake.

Jeff helped manage BPS Supply Company an exclusive distributorship that markets DuPont’s Corian and Zodiaq in Eastern WA, Eastern OR, all of MT, ID, and part of WY. For 41 years Jeff touched many business associates and made many friends over the years across the four states we service as well as DuPont and other distributors and the numerous Corian and Zodiaq fabricators he touched, talked to and knew.

Thanks to the family and close friends that came and saw Jeff in his final days. I can’t express enough what this meant to him to see everyone.

He is survived by his wife Janet of 38 years , Mother Mary Pat Strange, brothers Steve Strange (Darlene) David Strange (Tammy) sisters Brenda Strange, Rita Courtney ( Keith) , nieces and nephews Mike Strange (LV), Brendan Strange, Jennifer Strange , Cameron Schwartz , Mandy Schwartz , Ryan Courtney , and Lisanna Courtney all of Spokane
