With a heavy heart, we sadly announce that Wendy S. Glaze was taken home to be with the Lord on October 30th.
Born in Albany, New York, in 1953, to Jack and Carol Sherman. Wendy moved with family to Spokane in 1968. Wendy attended Ferris High School and Spokane Community College. She touched many people's hearts during her career as a CMA in Spokane. Hobbies included camping, fishing, knitting, reading and shopping.
Wendy is survived by her husband of 41 years, Gary Glaze; son, David Glaze; daughter, Tami Glaze and grandchildren: Zoie, Kassidy, Elisha, Gabrial and Abigail; sister, Lynn Sherman Miller and uncle Carl Myers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Darcy's Restaurant, 10502 E. Sprague, Spokane, WA, on Saturday, November 5th, 2016 at 3:00 PM. Wendy's family requests that bright colors be worn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Hospice House of Spokane or the Celiac Foundation. In addition, there is a GoFundMe site where available funds will be split between the two organizations listed above. www.gofundme.com (search Wendy Glaze).
The family extends their thanks to all of Wendy's friends for their support. Wendy will be missed, but never forgotten, she will always be in our hearts.
