David Larry DeMaw, 51, of Everett, passed away peacefully at his home on February 23, 2001. He was born on August 2, 1949 in Libby, MT. David went to school in Everett and Spokane. He graduated with honors. After graduating, he did a great deal of traveling. He settled in Los Angeles for three years. He then moved to New Orleans, where he lived for eight years and worked in a clothing factory as a manager. For the past twenty-one years, he has lived and worked in Everett. David did much volunteer work with churches, cooking and serving food for the homeless. David had always time to help others. He was well loved by all. David is survived by his father, Dwayne DeMaw of Montana; sister, Nancy Lanz and husband, Richard of Startup; two nieces, Veronica Shearer of Marysville and Bobbi Cooper of Snohomish; and a very dear friend, John Michael Scott of Everett. There will be no services at David's request. Goodbye, beloved brother and friend.
