Louise Elaine (Pittmann) Fendrich, 61, of Vancouver, WA, passed away suddenly on November 27, 2017. Born August 8, 1956 in Yakima, WA to Leighton and Jean Pittmann. Louise was a graduate of Joel E. Ferris High School (Class of 74), with continuing education at her beloved Gonzaga University in Spokane.
During her career, Louise excelled in her positions as Assistant to the Vice President of Administration & Planning at Gonzaga University; for Greater Spokane Inc. as BIZStreet and PTAC manager; for Congresswoman Cathy McMorris-Rogers as District Director / Director of Constituent Relations; for Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce as Business Solutions Consultant & Government and Contracting Counselor; and most recently for Congresswoman Jaime Herrera-Beutler as District Representative / Casework Manager. In her role for both congresswomen, she was most proud of her efforts on behalf of our military service members, both active duty and veteran.
Louise took great pleasure in helping others achieve success. She enjoyed genealogy, beach combing, reading and shopping.
Louise is survived by her daughter Sarah (Bryan) Pena and grandson Kyle of Sunnyvale, CA; sister Linda (Bob) Quick of Vancouver, WA; brothers Steve (Valerie) Pittmann of Santa Cruz, CA, Don Pittmann of Vale, OR, Martin (Cathy) Pittmann of Overgaard, AZ, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leighton and Jean Pittmann of Spokane, WA, and brother Dennis (Kathy) Pittmann of Anchorage, AK.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
