Sherri Colleen Byrd passed away unexpectedly on February 7th, following a short illness. She was born in Spokane on June11th, 1973, to Ron Howard Burke and Grace Marie Burke. She graduated from Joel E. Ferris High School and earned a scholarship to attend Spokane Falls Community College through her many accomplishments in pitching for women's fast pitch softball. A testament to her character, Sherri enjoyed working with children above all else. Over the years, Sherri was a bright light in the lives of numerous children and families throughout the Spokane community. Her kindness, loving personality, infectious smile and extreme kindness was truly without limit. Sherri is survived by her husband, Philip and her two sons, Garrett and Colby; whom meant everything to her. A celebration of life event will be held at a later date to honor her.
