George Yarno - Class Of 1975 VIEW PROFILE

YARNO, George
Anthony
(Age 58)

Born on August 12, 1957 in Spokane to J.R. (Dick) and Wanda (Gregory) Yarno and passed away in Spokane on August 8, 2016.
It is impossible to synopsize George's multifaceted life into a few paragraphs and he would be furious if this was an attention-grabbing tribute. Despite his considerable accomplishments, he was a humble, private family man when the lights went off and the crowd went home. Nothing made him happier than taking the grandkids tubing on the lake or skiing on the mountain. There is never enough time to do everything one wants to do, but George lived his life passionately and full throttle. We often joked that he had two speeds, full and off. It's been a roller coaster ride but I can't think of anyone I would rather have held on to for dear life. Give 'em hell, Honey. I love you!
George is survived by wife Cindy; son Josh (and Hillary); daughter Adrianne (and Paul); son George (and Becky); grandsons George, Ben (and mother Dana), Andrew and Henry (and mother Katie) and Joseph; granddaughters Charlee, Addison and Lennon; brother John (and Sandy); sisters Sandy (and Ed) and Terrie; beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Ricky and sister Judy.
A Celebration of Life is planned at 2PM on August 27th at the house. The family will also receive guests the 23rd and 24th between 10 and 4 if people are unable to attend Saturday. Donations to the George Yarno scholarship fund at STCU would be welcomed and appreciated in lieu of flowers.
