Spokane Youth Shot at Home by Brother
Spokane – the son of the city public works director was shot and killed in front of his home Tuesday and his brother booked into jail on first degree murder.
Police identified the victim as Tom Swanson, 16.
Officers took into custody the boy’s older brother, Steven, 18, and booked him on the murder charge. Both are sons [of] John Swanson.
Witnesses told police that the victim came staggering out of the family home with blood all over his face.
Someone with a rifle then came from the house and fired several shots at the victim, witnesses said.
