Survived By: Josh is survived by his father, Norm Wills, his mother, Fran Wills, his sister, Rachelle, and her husband Neil, along with his Grandfather, Ed Meidling, his Aunt, Kate McCaslin, his Uncle, Curt Meidling and family, his Aunt, Billie Fitzsimmons and husband Robert, numerous cousins and his Special Forces family.

WILLS, Joshua Edward Staff Sergeant, U.S. Army Josh was born on July 21, 1979 in Spokane, Washington. While growing up in the Spokane Valley, Josh attended St. John Vianney Catholic School. After a move to the South Hill, he graduated from Ferris High School in 1997. Following his high school graduation, Josh attended Spokane Falls Community College and received an Associate degree. Josh joined the Army in February of 2002, and was first stationed with the 25th Infantry Unit at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, from 2002 through 2005. Josh was deployed to Tikrit, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, with the 25th Infantry Unit during 2004 to 2005. After returning to the States, Josh was accepted into the Special Forces Qualification Course and graduated in May 2007. He was then stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky where he was part of the 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group. Josh excelled during his years of service receiving multiple awards and decorations including the Combat Infantry Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, the Parachutist Badge, the Expert Markmanship Badge, two Army Commendation Medals, and two Army Achievement Medals. As a child, Josh loved soccer, baseball, basketball, and teasing his older sister. As an adult, Josh loved music, BBQs with friends, and like his dad, trading in and buying new cars. Throughout his whole life, Josh always loved animals, and they loved him right back. Josh touched many people with his honesty, kindness, and goodness. He will be sorely missed, and most of all, truly loved by the friends and family he left behind. Josh's memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008,
