Merrill Duncan - Class Of 1969

Merrill S. Duncan Sr.
Service for Merrill S. Duncan Sr., 41, a railroad brakeman, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Riplinger Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
Mr. Duncan died Friday after apparently suffering a heart attack.
Born at Grand Coulee, he came to Spokane as a youngster and graduated from Ferris High School in 1967. He had been a brakeman for Burlington Northern Railroad for 21 years. He was a member of the Railroad Credit Union.
Survivors include his wife, Amelia; five sons, Merrill Duncan Jr., Aaron Duncan and Dayton Duncan, all of Seattle; Shawn Duncan in California and Preston Duncan of Spokane; two daughters, LaTosha Duncan and Danille Duncan,both of Spokane; his father, Merrill Brown in Oklahoma; his mother and stepfather, Lucille and Melvin Duncan of Spokane; four brothers, Gaither Brown in Kansas, Lucky Brown in Oklahoma and Earnest Brown and Melvin Brown, both of Spokane; five sisters, Lucille Anderson, Dee Dee Dixon, Melvina Lewis, Marilyn Kole and Marva Duncan, all of Seattle; and one granddaughter.
