Survived By: Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Jennifer Colburn of Colville; a son, Brandon Colburn of Malibu, Calif.; and a daughter, Kelly Colburn, and his parents, Hoyt and Carol Colburn, all of Spokane.

Gregory A. Colburn, 48, who was born in Spokane, died Monday in a single-car accident near Connell, Wash. He was a resident of Spokane for 24 years before moving to Colville, Wash., and then to Payette 11 years ago. He attended Ferris High School and graduated from Washington State University. Mr. Colburn spent several years working as a counselor for the Department of Social and Health Services in Colville and then worked as the director for Children's Services in Ontario, Ore. Most recently he was the auditor for Boise State University. Mr. Colburn was a member of Grace Evangelical Free Church in Colville.
