Kris was born Jan 5, 1962 in Spokane, Washington. While attending EWU, she met her husband Louis who was stationed at Fairchild AFB. They were married on August 1, 1981 at Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church. Ryan, their son was born in 1982. Not long after, they moved to Luke AFB, Arizona. In 1989, Louis was transferred to Bitburg, Germany, and Kris and Ryan accompanied him there. They were in Germany until 1994, when the family was transferred to Travis AFB, in Northern California. Kris worked a Travis Elementary School, and loved the kids, and they loved her. A park bench now sits under a tree outside her office window, in memorandum. Kris loved waterskiing, camping, ping pong, raquetball and numerous creative crafts. Kris passed away suddenly from a pulmonary embolism at the age of 45. While her family and friends miss her, we know that she is now a star shining down on us from heaven. God Bless.
