Survived By: He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 15 years, Amanda Crawford, one precious son Ethan Crawford (9) and one beautiful daughter Claire Crawford (6). Also survived by his parents Chuck and Carolyn Crawford of Spokane, WA along with his two sisters Charlene and Alecia.

CRAWFORD, Peter Edward (Age 35) A devoted husband and wonderful father left this earth the morning of Sunday August 21st, 2011 after a courageous battle with an aggressive unknown cancer. He met God in a real way as a teenager and wanted all to know that he was at peace, confident that he would pass from death to eternal life. Peter was born on March 14th, 1976 in Spokane, WA. Originally from Spokane, Peter moved his family to Redding, CA three years ago to build many wonderful memories there with his children and wife. He graduated from Joel E. Ferris high school, class of 1994, went to Spokane Community College, graduated from Moody Northwest, and the Nuclear Medicine Tech program at the University of Utah. While he started his career with the desire to go into full-time ministry, his path continued to draw him into the medical field with 15 yrs of experience in the medical communities of Spokane,WA; Tri-cities,WA; and Redding,CA as well. Most recently, as Regional Administrator for 21st Century Oncology, he was very close to finishing his MBA in Healthcare Administration. He also started the first annual Drive Out Cancer Golf Tournament and became active in the Redding community; a recent graduate of Leadership Redding. Peter was an intelligent, passionate person who had a zest for life that was infectious; and wherever he went he left behind tons of friends! He loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, mountain biking, snow shoeing, golf, and landscaping his cactus/palm desert scape. While he has passed on to be with his Creator, his legacy lives on in his children, wife, and the friendships he leaves behind. We are thankful for every day that we had with him here and many of us look forward to the day we meet him again in heaven. Published on 8/25/2011
