Survived By: She is survived by her husband, Steve McGlocklin; and their two sons, Scott and Colin, their wives, Gina and Emilie all of Spokane, WA; her mother, Doris Hamilton of Spokane; father Wes Hamilton of Spokane; brother Joe Hamilton his wife Eilene their son Trevor; and sister Carol Martin her husband Dave and son Mitchell, all of Spokane Valley.

McGLOCKLIN, Linda Lou Of Spokane, WA, passed away peacefully Monday, April 16th at home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 21st, 1950 in Spokane, Washington. She was the oldest of three children. Linda graduated from Ferris High School in 1968 and then attended Whitworth College where she received a degree in Elementary Education. Later, she returned to continue her education at Gonzaga where she earned her masters degree in Technology in Education. She married Steve McGlocklin on June 19th, 1971. Linda started teaching 1st grade at Evergreen Elementary in 1972, where she taught for over 33 years. Touching the lives of children daily, Linda was passionate about children's literacy, committing her career to this love, ensuring that every child learned to read. With her family, she loved to travel to Priest Lake and enjoy nature as it surrounded her. Those who remember her fondly know that she was an avid reader and enthusiastic Zags fan with a warm and giving heart. Published on 4/22 /2007
