Survived By: He is survived by his wife Sue at their home in Moxee, WA. Also survived by son David of Boise, ID, daughter Sarah (Ryan) Metcalf, grandsons Mason and Maddox Metcalf all of Richland WA. Mother Dorothy Stark, sister Sandra Riebe both of Spokane, WA, brother Thom (Mary) of Priest Lake, ID, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by father Roy Stark.

Dan a 1967 graduate of Ferris High School, Spokane, was a successful horse trainer and reining horse competitor. He was a member of the National Reining Horse Association, and the Reining Horse Association of the Northwest. He recently competed at NRHA's North American Affiliate Finals Championship show in Oklahoma City.
