Marilyn Lureva Loomis (Thompson)

Marilyn was 64 when she passed on July 11, 2017 from breast cancer.

She lived a full life with her husband Steve Thompson. She has two daughters Rosemary Thompson Jones along with spouse Justan Jones, and Nachelle Thompson Engelhard along with spouse Ben Engelhard. She has three grandchildren Casey Jones, Willow Jones, and Kari Jones. She also has a sister Joyce Kaiser.

Marilyn was a very active person. She had worked at Scared Heart Hospital for over 30 years. When she lived on the south hill of Spokane she was very active with the Moran Community Fair and Methodist Church, she was also active with the area schools with Campfire which her girls were a part of. She was always a big part of the family reunions for the Kirkpatrick’s. She moved out to the Deer Park area in 1996. Around 2010 Marilyn became active in the Clayton Community Fair along with her daughters and grandchildren. Her and her husband Steve began selling items at the Clayton Community Farmers Market too. Marilyn was known for her dryer balls.

Marilyn always loved and supported her family through thick and thin. And all loved her too. She was a kind and gentle person.
