Survived By: Diane was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years Darrel Bailey Jr. of Spokane; son Jason Bailey of San Antonio, TX; brother Darrell (Patricia) Aubrey of Spokane Valley; and father and mother-in-law Darrel (Della) Bailey Sr. of Spokane; sister-in-law Vicki McWilliams of San Francisco, CA; brother-in-law Brad Bailey of Orange County, CA.

Our loving and beautiful Diane Bailey passed away August 8th, 2010. She was born September 2, 1960 in Spokane. Diane was the daughter of Harold and Barbara (McKibben) Aubrey. Diane was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, daughter in law, sister in law and loyal and supportive friend to many. Diane graduated from Ferris High School and went on to WSU where she attended the Nursing School and then graduated from Cal State Nursing School. Diane's many accomplishments include Alpha Chi Omega Sorority where she was a sister to many. Later Diane volunteered at Freeman Schools as a member of the PTSA receiving the Acorn Award for outstanding volunteer service and President of the Booster Club. Diane did all this for the love of her son, Jason, and to support the Freeman community. Diane also worked at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley where she was a charge nurse while she and Darrel lived in Northern California from 1985-1993 before they moved back to Spokane. Diane then joined Rockwood Clinic outpatient surgery center from 1994-2006. Jason her loving son was born in San Francisco March 12, 1987. Diane, Darrel and Jason loved spending their summers at Lake Coeur d'Alene looking out at the beautiful view of Windy Bay. Diane loved spending time on the boat with her family and friends. Diane also loved country music and going to concerts with her best girlfriends. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with Darrel and Jason and attending all of Jason's sporting events. Also traveling with Darrel on his business trips, enjoying their friends. Diane was the most loving, Mother, Wife, Sister, daughter-in-law, and she will be missed but will always be in our hearts.
